KATHLEEN WICKENS I Director & Founder
I have always been interested in what makes people tick and why we do what we do; it is one of life’s biggest conundrums for me. For example, why would someone be a teacher, a police officer, a doctor, or nurse? What is their driver and what can suddenly make them want to change direction in a massive way.

When we arrive on the planet, we’re pretty perfect but can lose our confidence, self-esteem and general zest for life along our personal journey. As a coach and RTT Practitioner, my driver after many years of being in the wrong job because it paid the bills is to help and support people who want to make a change so that they feel fulfilled, proud of themselves and free from that nagging internal dialogue that continues to ask ‘what on earth are you doing - get out of the shadows’.

So, about 20 years ago I became very interested in coaching, I read everything I could lay my hands on and in 2000 after spending an inordinately stressful period of process mapping and risk engineering around Y2K (yes I am that old!) I faced up to the fact that the sheer tediousness of graphs, spreadsheets etc., was not my thing.

But here’s the rub. I also wanted to write fiction and so I did. I took another job but with a difference - it allowed me to coach in an organisational setting. I did lots of 1:1 and team coaching and something I like to call water cooler coaching where someone asks ‘have you got 5 minutes?’ and 90 minutes later you’ve set up a coaching programme or a self-work programme.

I am a powerful coach who has a PhD in empathy and compassion. I am insightful and willing to hold my client’s feet the flame because I see the greatness in them even if they can't and, I care. I also practice RTT which is Rapid Transformational Therapy (Marisa Peer) and love it. This is based around hypnosis and NLP so a lot of focus on the rules of the mind. RTT combined with coaching is an immensely powerful tool and I use it to help facilitate the relief of physical symptoms for example migraine which manifests itself as poor self-confidence (it allows me to get to the root of the issue) so that my clients can step into a life that they design for themselves.

ADAM WICKENS I Head of Training & Operations
I have worked in the rail industry in England and internationally for over 20 years. During this time I have designed and delivered a portfolio of learning and development experiences from boardroom and all levels of staff.

With a personal passion for public speaking and presentations I like to think I am well placed to support individuals who are struggling and worried about this aspect of their role. I am, extremely knowledgeable regarding safety critical work, personal safety and railway rules and so well geared up to coach and mentor in these areas.

I am fiercely passionate about mental wellbeing in the work place and the impact poor mental health can have on productivity, morale and employees feeling like they belong.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling even if its just a sneaky weekend to our European neighbours.
